- Together with the authorities we participate in solving the cases of disappearance and sexual exploitation by means of:
- A call-center where reports regarding disappearance, abduction or trafficking children for sexual exploitation are received and processed;
- A network of volunteers who distribute flyers or posters with photos and personal information of the missing children; at the request of the Police the network of volunteers may get involved in the search investigations of the missing children.
- We have specialized people to support and assist the victims/families of the missing children or those trafficked for sexual exploitation; the counseling may be carried on directly (face-to-face) or by phone.
- We contribute to preventing disappearances and sexual exploitation of children by:
- Initiating prevention programs against abduction, trafficking, sexual exploitation or pseudo-pornography on the Internet;
- Programs to protect children who access Internet, against pedo-pornography on the Internet
- Awareness-raising campaigns for the public/parents/professors/children; these campaigns are meant to protect children against abduction, disappearances, sexual exploitation.
- We promote modification/adapting of the existent legal framework, with a view to improving the measures for children protection against these phenomena.
- We are creating a data base at national level regarding these issues; this data base is important in order to establish the real casuistry, the causes of these phenomena and also for implementing prevention programs.
