Run away from home is not a solution for your problems. Here are a few risks that you expose to:
- You may become the victim of human-trafficking networks where you may be ill-treated, sexually exploited and enslaved;
- You may become the victim of drug-trafficking networks and you may be compelled to do things that you are not willing to do, for example to steal;
- You loose your best friends;
- You loose your parents’ trust;
- Another person may use your identity documents which may cause you problems;
- You may become a victim at any time, as there will be no bosom person to help you.
If you cannot find the understanding you need from your family or the adults who take care of you, then appeal to specialized persons. With a good piece of advice from a trustworthy person, some of your problems will disappear and you will be able to see the glass half full.
There are a lot of persons who can help you, from public institutions (the Offices for Social Assistance from Town Halls, the Offices for Child Protection) and also from non-governmental organizations. |
