Focus is recruiting volunteer coordinators

Volunteering means responsibility. It means to try to give something back to the community that you belong. It means not being indifferent and to care about the things that happen around you.

Today, volunteering is very important for your resume, equating it, to increasingly more employers, with a practice or an experience already gained. Companies are sensitive to this and consider volunteering a plus in making the hiring decision.

Why should you be a Focus volunteer?

Maybe because you saw the news and reports with the grieving parents, you are aware of their story and you want to do something for them.. Or maybe because you are not indifferent to the fact that this phenomenon continues to affect families in Romania, year after year.

What will we do together?

  1. We post disappearances posters that your county instruments;
  2. We identify the best locations for posting;
  3. We are looking for other friends (volunteers) that could help us in our efforts;
  4. We organize campaigns to prevent disappearances and sexual exploitation of children;

Attributions

  1. You create and coordinate a network of volunteers in the county where you live;
  2. You actively get involved in our preventions campaigns;
  3. You respect the ethics, legal and methodological basis of our Center;
  4. You disclose information that we provide you;

Requirements for application as a volunteer:

  1. Minimum age 18 years old;
  2. Secondary education or higher;
  3. Availability, mobility, pro-activity;
  4. Responsibility and a clean police record;
  5. Preferred address located in the county seat;
  6. Minimum PC knowledge;
  7. Driving license is an advantage;

The recruitment process will take place in two stages: selection of CVs and an interview.
Only candidates selected in the first stage will be contacted for the interview.
