FOCUS- Romanian Center for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children was established in January 2007 as a non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical, autonomous and independent association. The aim of the association is at the same time to prevent and to participate in solving cases of missing, kidnapped or sexually exploited children. We plan to have a significant contribution to diminishing the phenomena of disappearance and sexual exploitation of children by: educating parents and children, involving mass-media, endorsing the efforts of the volunteers and of the competent authorities. In carrying on this mission, we have a complementary intervention, supporting state authorities in their actions. |
